A Yin Yoga Training homage to the roots of Yoga. Exploring in practice and ritual the merge of Tantric, Ayurvedic and Daoist traditions. The primary focus of this training is teaching the art of calm alongside the essentials for teaching Yin yoga.
Āsana and functional anatomy fundamentals to understand a functional approach to Yoga (Grilleys’ method). Sequencing basics through the mándalasana.
Teachers
Kathy Páez will teach anatomy, Yin āsana, prāṇāyāma, mantra, dharana, shat karma and meditation.
Kimberly Ashton will teach Eating for Calm through the 5 elements. Read more about her below.

Cancellation policies
Up until one month before the course begins a full refund minus transaction fees (if applied) is available. After this, no deposit is refunded unless the cancelation is COVID 19 related.
If travel restriction is effective at the time of the course this training will be held 100% online on zoom. Deposit price is held as the full price of the online course. Shipping fee for self care kit is charged seperately.
If interruptsions arise half way through the training, teachings pass on to online format and no refund provided.
COVID 19
Safety protocols will be held in place for the duration of this course; social distancing, masks where needed, disinfected instalations and proper ventilation. Vaccination cards or COVID tests may be asked to ensure the safety of all on this training.

Kathy Páez
Kathy Páez is a certified Yoga teacher (ERYT 500), author, international teacher trainer, senior teacher and assistant to Paul Grilley, the founder of Yin Yoga. She has a deep love of Yoga as a means to reboot the nervous system and shift us into parasympathetic mode (rest & digest).
Her studies stem from classical Ashtanga Yoga from Baba Hari Dass lineage at Mount Madonna (200h YTT) and go into Yin Yoga with over 500h of training in Yin yoga with Paul and Suzee Grilley, Bernie Clark, Sarah Powers. Kathy has also studied to an academic degree Anatomy with the University of Michigan and Sanskrit at the University of Barcelona.
Kimberly Ashton
Kimberly is a 5 Elements Wellness coach, TCM food therapist, teacher & author with a focus on balancing life energies. Through the lens of the 5 elements, emotional & metaphysical anatomy, her e-books, coaching and courses support you through the layers of discovering your own connection of FOOD- EMOTIONS- ENERGY. Kimberly has been sharing her passions & teaching since 2011, using Food Therapy & Food Energetics to improve health from the inside out.
She spent over 16 years in Shanghai, 8 of which she co-owned China’s first health food store & nutrition cooking studio, and has published two books. Most recently Chinese Superfoods in Chinese which has sold over 7000 copies in China. She is now based in Australia. Kimberly has trained in Yin Yoga with Sarah Powers, Sebastian Pucelle & Murielle Burellier, and Yoga Nidra with Andre Riehl and is an iRest Yoga Nidra level 1 teacher.
Kate Bently
Drawn to the classical teachings of Ayurveda and Yoga through her teacher Baba Hari Dass, Kate has also studied the indigenous healing practices of Peruvian Shamanism and Tantric Buddhism through the Vajrayana lineage. Immersed in her love for plants, natural healing and the well being of all global communities, she blends these experiences in her practice to help others co-create long term solutions for inner and outer balance. She is an instructor and clinical practitioner at the College of Ayurveda – Mount Madonna Institute, and holds a Masters Degree with a thesis in women’s reproductive health. She has written articles for local health magazines and been interviewed on talk radio. Practicing member of NAMA, the National Ayurvedic Medical Association.
